We’re not your average snack company that pulls bags off a dusty warehouse shelf. To give you the "Proper" experience, we do things a little differently.

The "Biltonginator" Schedule

Because we make our biltong fresh to order, we don't just ship whenever—we ship when the meat is ready.

• We load our Biltonginators in batches. We wait for that perfect moment to "harvest" the slabs when the texture and flavor are exactly right.

• Depending on when you place your order relative to our current batch, it might take a few days for your order to head out the door.

• We don’t think it’s fair to take your money while you wait. We won't charge your card until your order is officially on its way to you.

Packing & Speed

Once the biltong is ready, we move fast. We pack, insulate, and seal every order to lock in freshness. From there, we do whatever it takes to get it to your doorstep as quickly as we can.

So look, we’re the ones bragging that this is "Proper" Biltong. If that sounds like we’re implying other brands aren't proper... well, yes, that’s exactly what we’re implying.

Our entire business relies on our biltong arriving in "proper" condition, so if we don't get it to you fresh and fast, we aren't living up to our name. Rest assured, we will always do our utmost to make sure your package arrives exactly how it should, and if we don't, we'll do our best to make it right.
